What Our Athletes Say

 FAQ

  • We recommend avoiding intense exercise 24-48 hours before your test, getting a good night's sleep, and eating a light meal 2-3 hours prior. Stay well-hydrated but avoid caffeine for at least 4 hours before testing. Wear comfortable athletic clothes and running shoes.

  • Yes, particularly the VO2 max test which requires maximal effort. The lactate threshold test is challenging but submaximal. Both tests are designed to be progressive, starting easy and gradually increasing in intensity.

  • You'll receive a comprehensive report with your key metrics (VO2 max, lactate threshold, training zones), graphical representations of your data, and personalized recommendations. This will be reviewed with you by our experts and provided digitally.

  • Most athletes benefit from retesting every 3-6 months, or at key points in their training cycle. This allows you to track improvements and make adjustments to your training zones as your fitness evolves.
